Remote sensing applications to hydrology: future impact

چکیده
The case is made that the hydrological sciences are data limited and that future progress in understanding hydrological processes is hampered by the lack of adequate data. The future applications of remote sensing to hydrology should provide new types of data that enable hydrologists to address the previously unsolved questions. Le futur des applications hydrologiques de la télédétection Résumé Les sciences hydrologiques dépendent étroitement des données disponibles et les futurs progrès dans la compréhension des processus hydrologiques risquent d'être entravés par un manque de données adéquates. L'utilisation de la télédétection en hydrologie devrait permettre d'obtenir de nouveaux types de données qui permettront de résoudre des problèmes jusqu'à présent sans solution.
